Our Story

Bibles For Ballers was founded and established by Bob Petty in 2012 with a focus on being positive mentors to students, providing young athletes with exceptional skills training and most importantly – providing students with bibles to learn more about Jesus Christ! Our focus is to always provide personalized training to help each student develop into the best athlete possible. Our Christian values are what have made our program so impactful – honesty, integrity, hard work and loving each player no matter their skill level. We strive to partner with others with the same values.

Striving to teach, train and inspire youth and teens who have a love of sports, to walk in a Godly manner with respect, morals, ethics, mentoring, practice, fieldtrips, fund raising events, exercising physically and spiritually through Biblical principles and to use their God-given talents and abilities to bring honor and glory to God, as they continue to grow to become well-adjusted, grounded and productive leaders of society.

Bob Petty – Played Basketball & Football at Taylor High School where he earned Jr. All-State Honors and was named to the North Region All-Star Team.  He then had the opportunity to attend Ball State University.  Bob earned Dean’s List Honors and studied abroad at Westminster University in London, England.  Professionally, Bob is the Director of Sports Partnerships – working with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, etc.  He is passionate about sharing God’s Word with youth and telling them about the Love of Jesus.  Bibles For Ballers is the perfect fit to feed his passion!
